Privacy Policy

Last updated

Unlock Futurix Ltd ("Unlock", "we", "us") is a company in the United Kingdom that builds apps for Apple platforms. This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website, unlockfuturix.com, and when you get in touch with us. We are the controller of that data under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Our apps have their own policies

Each of our apps (Subio, Glamy, SoftVM, Pastey, Habbit and future apps) has its own privacy policy on its own website, which explains exactly what that app does with your data. This policy covers this company website only.

What this website collects

  • No accounts, no forms, no cookies. This site does not ask for your name or email, does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking tools.
  • Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email is hosted by Zoho.

Why we use your data (legal basis)

  • To answer your messages and support you with our apps: our legitimate interest in running our business, or taking steps at your request.
  • To keep the site running and secure: our legitimate interest in operating a safe website.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it to build advertising profiles.

How long we keep it

We keep emails only as long as we need them to help you and for our business records, and then delete them. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its own policies.

Sharing

We share personal data only with the service providers that run this site and our email (Cloudflare and Zoho), who process it on our behalf, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To use any of these rights, email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.

Children

This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
